WebKing / Spring, Texas

Spring has three bar scenes, not one.

Thirteen rooms across the historic core, the Sawdust corridor and the retail strips out on FM 2920, and they want completely different nights. Every address and every set of hours below came from the venue itself and is dated. The one thing nobody expects is who is still open last.

The short answer

Spring, Texas does not have one bar scene. It has three, and they want different nights out. Old Town Spring is the walkable historic core, seven places inside a few blocks of Midway, Gentry, Main and Border, running from a saloon in a century-old building to a speakeasy to an icehouse where you bring your own liquor. The Sawdust and Pruitt corridor north of it trades in volume and stays open until 2am. The FM 2920 and Rayford strips are where the concept bars went, hiding a full 1920s buildout behind a shopping-center door. Last call in most of Spring is midnight or earlier. And the last door still open in the historic district on a Friday belongs to a kava bar that pours nothing stronger than tea.

04 / Last call

THE LAST DOOR OPEN
POURS NO ALCOHOL.

Line every bar in Spring up by when it stops on a Friday and the picture is not the one anybody expects. Two places out on Sawdust and Pruitt run to 2am. Back in the historic district, where the saloons are, the last light on belongs to a kava bar that has never served a drink with alcohol in it.

05 / What it adds up to

THREE THINGS
THE HOURS GIVE AWAY.

01

The icehouse will not die

Track Shack still serves beer out of ice rather than a refrigerator and calls itself the oldest in Spring. Cross Track does not sell liquor and lets you bring your own. Sawyer Park runs the same idea across 17,000 square feet with a screen the size of a wall. Three scales, one format, all three trading.

02

A theme beats a bar being a bar

Prohibition Texas, MB Speakeasy and The Blind Finch are all selling an era. Excalibur is selling a brewery with weaponry on the walls. The places in Spring that are simply bars are not the ones people drive across the county for.

03

Alcohol-free is not a novelty any more

Elixir Lounge is open ninety-six hours a week, more than any bar in Old Town Spring, and it is the only thing in the district still open at 1am on a Saturday. That is not a curiosity. That is the best trading position on the street.

See every closing time

Seven of them, all inside Old Town Spring: Wunsche Bros. and Prohibition Texas on Midway Street, MB Speakeasy on Gentry, Elixir Lounge on Main, Excalibur Brewing on Border and Cross Track Icehouse on Magnolia. See the district split
04Is there a brewery in Spring, Texas?

Two. Excalibur Brewing at 26510 Border Street in Old Town Spring is a small-batch brewpub with a medieval theme, and it has since opened a second taproom at 5505 FM 1488 in Magnolia, Texas. See what else is in Old Town
06Is there a speakeasy in Spring, Texas?

MB Speakeasy in Old Town Spring uses the name for the theme and the live music rather than for secrecy, and Prohibition Texas on Midway Street sells the same era with cocktails and a cigar lounge.

07Where can you go out in Spring without drinking?

Elixir Lounge Kava Bar at 206 Main Street in Old Town Spring is alcohol-free and open longer than any bar in the district: ninety-six hours a week, until 1am on Friday and Saturday. 09Do you run a bar in Spring and want to be found?

Every venue on this page publishes its own hours, and the ones that publish them clearly are the ones a search engine and an AI assistant can answer questions about. That is most of what local visibility is: being readable by the thing your customer is asking. WebKing is in Spring, and that is the work we do.

08 / The limits

WHAT THIS PAGE
DOES NOT CLAIM.

The fastest way to judge a guide is to check whether it tells you where it stops. Here is where this one stops.

01

Hours are a snapshot

Everything here was checked on 2026-08-17 against what each venue publishes. Bars change their hours for holidays, private hire, football and the weather. Treat this as the shape of the week, not a guarantee about tonight.

02

There are no ratings on this page

Star averages and review counts move weekly, they read differently on every platform, and a review count is a measurement rather than something anybody feels standing at a bar. We left them off rather than publish a number that would be stale by the weekend.

03

We do not rate the service anywhere

This page describes what each place is, where it is and when it opens. It does not tell you whether your night there will be a good one. That is a call about somebody else’s business we have no standing to make in writing.

04

Thirteen is not all of them

These are the bars with a public presence worth writing about across the three districts. Spring has restaurants with good bars in them, hotel bars, and places that turn into a bar after 9pm, and none of those are counted here.

05

The patterns are our read, not a record

The addresses, the hours and the arithmetic on them are facts you can check against the sources. That the icehouse format is winning, that a theme beats a plain bar, and that alcohol-free has arrived are conclusions we drew from those facts. Reasonable people can look at the same list and see something else.

06

Track Shack is missing from the charts

It publishes kitchen hours and not bar hours, so it appears in the guide and stays out of every graphic. Putting an assumption inside a chart of measurements is how a guess turns into a fact.
