Meta just released Muse for Small Business, an AI agent that plugs directly into the tools you already own. Instead of toggling between Shopify for orders, QuickBooks for money, Facebook Ads Manager for reach, Klaviyo for email, and Slack for team chat, Muse reads all of them at once and uses what it learns to build marketing plans, write content, and move work between apps without you touching anything.
The agent connects to eight platforms: your Shopify store, Stripe or Squarespace payment systems, QuickBooks accounting, Meta's Facebook and Instagram advertising, Canva for design, Klaviyo for email, and Slack for team messaging. Once live, Muse analyzes everything at once. It sees which products sold, which customer segments spent the most, which ads performed, and which emails converted. Then it can write new marketing strategy, draft social and email copy, and schedule work in Slack or queue designs in Canva, all without you opening another tab.
Shop owners who spend their day jumping between dashboards win the most. A bakery owner on Shopify can now have Muse read last month's cake sales, spot that chocolate orders spiked on Thursdays, check what your email list actually clicked, and then automatically draft a Thursday promo email and queue it in Klaviyo. A contractor using Stripe and QuickBooks can let Muse see which jobs cost the most to acquire and which services have the best margins, then suggest ad angles that match those winners.
The real play is speed. You're not waiting for your team to compile a report or for you to hunt through data. Muse does the connecting and the thinking, then presents a plan or a draft.
Muse only talks to the eight platforms Meta chose. If you use a different email tool, a custom inventory system, or an accounting package Muse doesn't recognize, the agent can't see that data. You'll need to either move to Meta's partner ecosystem or manually feed Muse the numbers it needs. Also, like any AI, Muse will be only as smart as the business rules you give it. If you don't tell it your profit margins, pricing strategy, or brand voice, it may write generic content that doesn't sound like you.
